About Our Founder

Little Black Dress Founder Jamie Reeves has more than 20 years of experience in writing, public relations and social media management. Her career began in the News & Public Affairs office at Vanderbilt University, followed by a corporate communication role at one of Nashville’s largest insurance companies. As a PR professional, she has placed clients in national publications such as Market Watch and ghost written articles on behalf of CEOs for publication in SmallBizDaily.com. Locally she has landed clients in The Tennessean and Style Blueprint. She is also a prolific copywriter, having written lead generation copy for national brands like SONIC, Gigi’s Cupcakes and Tony Roma’s. She also manages social media content for several small business clients, making sure their message is in alignment with their business goals.

Jamie is very familiar with the lifestyle and mom blog space, having launched a popular Nashville-based mom blog in 2005. As a blogger she has been chosen as a brand ambassador for such brands as Lee Jeans and Nintendo. She also published multiple blogs as a featured writer for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt Wishing Well Blog. This uniquely qualifies her to see your brand from both the consumer perspective and influencer perspective. She’s also seen the dawn of the digital age, guiding print publications as they adapted to the Internet, and social media, and ensuring they didn’t get left behind.

Jamie can offer expertise in blogger outreach, as well as social media messaging and engagement with new and current audiences on a variety of social media platforms.
